Bidding Process

Bids will be accepted until at least 3 bids have been received by the credit union. The credit union reserves the right to refuse any bid, or accept more bids than the minimum of 3. Once it has been determined that the buyer interest in the vehicle has passed, the credit union will contact ALL bidders.

There is no specific time frame for this process. Each vehicle sale is evaluated individually to determine when the sale will take place. If you have submitted a bid on a vehicle, regardless of your bid amount, you WILL be contacted. Once a buyer has shown interest in a vehicle, we give any buyer a fair chance to buy the vehicle, even if they have been outbid. No vehicle will be sold out from under anyone who has shown interest. If you are contacted and have been outbid, you will have the option to increase your bid in no less than $100 increments or back out of the process. The remaining bidder is the winner, and funds must be presented to the credit union in the form of cash or cashier’s check.
