Each spring we award Rose Ratka Scholarships to deserving high school seniors intending to further their education through a trade school, apprenticeship program, community college, state or private university.
This program honors the late Rose M. Ratka who was President/CEO of the Credit Union from 1978 to 1996. An astute business woman who achieved remarkable success in the industry, Rose Ratka strongly believed in continuing education. We are proud to honor her beliefs. Scholarship funds are awarded to students who best exemplify Rose Ratka’s courage, spirit and dedication.
Scholarships are awarded annually for application to school the following fall. Scholarship funds should be used for tuition, books, school supplies and other related needs. Applicants must be Alliance members and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Students not already Alliance members may join when they apply for the scholarship with a $25 minimum deposit into a regular savings account. The $10 lifetime membership fee will be waived.
